From the Chaplain: I have two reflections: First, Sometimes when chaplains do Memorial services they can be a little wistful that they did not meet the person when there was a chance to get to know them. I have that feeling with Don. I know that I would have liked him and had fun with him.
Secondly, at the same time from getting to know the family and friends there is a way we know a person by how others have known him and what they share of their lives with him. In this sense, I know Don from the love, honor and sharing of those who knew him. In this context I know him too, as fun, strong, devoted and deeply loved and competent.
It is for me an honor and a privilege to have been a part of his memorial. Once again, Don, I salute you.

My husband and I have had the honor of knowing Don through his son and our great friend, Erik.
Erik is one of the finest people we know and we feel it is due to the integrity, dedication, and hard-work ethics of Don and Sally.
Don, we miss you and know you and Sally are together once more.
With sorrow and affection,
